Lauren Guitrau

Contestant- 2005 & 2006

I originally became interested in competing for Miss Anaheim while looking for a way to better afford college.  Throughout my years competing I met some amazing people whom I call my “pageant family”.

These young women have become my sounding boards, professional networking contacts and personal fashion consultants for life!  My Executive Director became a second mom to me and the other girls.  The interview process and on stage questions gave me confidence to showcase my ideas and talents in job interviews as well as in social settings.  Miss Anaheim is far more than a “beauty pageant” and offers life-long lessons in grace, poise, self confidence and physical fitness.

Despite never holding a “Miss” title during my years with the program, I was able to be involved in numerous community volunteer activities and I am THRILLED to be a part of Miss Anaheim 2015 and sharing these experiences with our Princess Program and the Miss and Miss Teen contestants.
