To become a contestant for the 2024 competition cycle (beginning May 2023), you must meet all criteria as shown below:

Miss - Birth year 1996 to 2006

Teen - Birth Year 2006 - 2010

Be a U.S. Citizen
-
Born female or have medical documentation of gender reassignment surgery.

Reside in California
-
Be available to compete at Miss California / Miss California's Teen in Visalia from June 8 - 15, 2024
