Congratulations to our former Miss Canyon Hills' Outstanding Teen, Maya Alvarez-Coyne, who was crowned Miss California's Outstanding Teen 2021 in June! Maya is headed to Orlando to compete in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen competition. Maya is an 18-year-old freshman at Stanford University. Her social impact initiative is Teen Health and Fitness. Maya is the 2020 recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award, the Music Center's Spotlight Awards Grand Prize Finalist (2020), and 2020 All-Ireland Irish Dance champion.
